This is the fifth premiere of a domestic dramatic text in the 2024/2025 season. in the Sarajevo National Theatre. With this title, the National Theatre of Sarajevo completes a series of domestic dramatic productions that were presented to the theatre audience during the season’s premiere, confirming its commitment to contemporary theatrical expression and the affirmation of local authors.
The cast consists of: Helena Vuković, Haris Bidžan, Vedran Đekić, Ejla Bavčić Tarakčija, Mak Čengić, Sanela Krsmanović, Slaven Vidak, Dino Bajrović, Nerman Mahmutović, Irfan Ribić, Faruk Hajdarević, Belma Salkunić Bektešević and Alisa Čajić.
“Hopelessness. Lostness. Search for meaning. Belief in love. Longing for happiness. These are just some of the topics we try to talk about through the play. I hope that we will succeed in pointing out the inviolable importance of love, kindness and understanding for others, as well as the evil that stems from prejudice and cruelty,” wrote director Iva Milošević.
The playwright is Vedrana Božinović, the stage designer is Gorčin Stanojević, while the costume design is by Lejla Hodžić. The composer is Vladimir Pejaković, and the collaborator for stage movement is Amila Terzimehić.
