A major police operation is currently underway in the Austrian city of Graz due to a shooting that, according to initial information, took place at a school. The crime scene is believed to be the BORG school, which is located within the community recreation centre. According to preliminary information, there are several dead, but the number of victims has not yet been officially confirmed. The competent services are treating the incident as a "rampage", and the perpetrator, according to available information, was shot. The Cobra special unit was sent to the scene. Police issued a statement saying: "According to initial findings, gunshots were heard at the school. Citizens are advised to avoid the area and follow the instructions of security services on the ground."
