In the last preparatory match before the start of the season, Barcelona players beat Como with a score of 5:0.
Barcelona won the 60th edition of the match for the Joan Gamper trophy at the “Johan Cruyff” stadium, and apart from Lamine Yamal, who made his debut with the number 10 on his back, Marcus Rashford also attracted attention due to an incredible miss.
Fermin Lopez scored the first two in the 21st and 35th minutes, and in the 37th minute Raphinha made it 3:0 after an assist from Rashford.
Yamal scored in the 42nd minute to make it 4:0, and the Catalans could have gone 5:0 at halftime if Rashford hadn’t got down.
In the second minute of stoppage time in the first half, Yamal did a great job of the Englishman, who came out alone to the goalkeeper Jean Butez, bypassed him without any problems and the easiest part of his job remained – to send the ball into an empty goal.
Yamal made the final score 5:0 in the 47th minute, and Barcelona’s next match will be on August 16th, when they will play away at Mallorca in the first round of La Liga.
